Who We Are:
VIP For Christ Orphans Ministries was formed in response to God’s call to care for the orphans. We are families that are connected in some way or another by the common bond of caring for the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of orphans and waiting children. As Christians families, we know that together we can make a difference in children’s lives.
We have chosen the name “VIP For Christ” for our ministry because the name “VIP” means Very Important Person and we know how important children are in Christian Ministry. “VIP For Christ” means Very Important Persons for Christ.
Why We Exist and Who Do We Seek to Serve:
The number of children worldwide without families to love and care for them is overwhelming. There are approximately 143 million children in the world who have been identified as orphans. In the United States alone there are over 500,000 children in our foster care system. Approximately 118,000 of these children are available for adoption. Each year between 20,000 and 30,000 of these foster care children age out of the system and are left to navigate the world alone.
Although every one of these numbers is too large to truly grasp, we believe that we can make a difference in the life of children one child at a time. As a result of this, VIP For Christ Orphans Ministries has been created by motivated Christians families with one common purpose, to act on behalf of the orphans. These families have decided to voluntarily give their time and talents to the needs of the orphans and the waiting children. It is our prayer that through this ministry we can provide hope to many children and that the hope and love of God will be evident in all that we do.
Ministry Leadership:
The ministry was created and is led by Victor and Yomary Valentin as well as with other volunteers in various limited capacities. As we move forward, we are committed to adding to the core team those who share the vision for this ministry and who are willing to serve the orphans and the waiting children well.
